We had a great stay in the bottom of the bay although very crowdy. We got help with mooring and ended up tying up with another very friendly Italian boat. Food at sismis is okay but a bit expensive. Approx 1000 kuna for 4 people. In the evening the atmosphere was magical

The worst anchorage in this region, we put you in the wrong direction in order to be able to put as many boats as possible, it's like being in a supermarket parking lot !!! To avoid, too bad because the first restaurant on arrival is correct. The one at the bottom of the bay is rubbish and expensive

Agree with all the comments here. It’s a zoo and very much like tying up at a marina dock. The reception person was great and helped us get in place with two stern lines, then everything got really crowded quickly. In the morning we were on our own to untie and since there are only two of us, we decided to leave early as the wind was picking up. Untying the lines with our own dinghy (paddle board had a hole in it), maintaining position to secure the dinghy and getting out quickly would be challenging if more boats were all doing it at the same time. Good to just be aware of what you may be in for if shorthanded. Sismis food was just okay and expensive. SailingAWEN.com
