We were there on 7/20/2021 after crossing from Reggio Calabria. Very calm, watch out for the outcropping rocks and get wet on the sandy bottom, there are some in the east at the foot of the cliff, then no problem with 20 knots of wind. Restaurant behind the eastern point.

Great sandy anchoring, but need a little distance from shore, where it is rocky. Good shelter from the wind. Can be a little wavey. Great sandy beach. Need of umbrella for personal use. Reachable by dinghy to nearby small pier. Ok food at restaurant but very much wasp and cats. Too bad because the view is amazing. Stay in the boat and enjoy company there by afternoon and night. A beautiful sun sets a little too early in my opinion.

A beautiful anchorage in the south end of Kefalonia. Probably the best place for the prevailing NW winds in this area. We anchored in about 5m with 35m of chain. We had strong NW wind blowing 35+kts. The seabed is sand and holds well, but we were hoping to be closer to shore to have a bit more wind and wave protection. Unfortunately closer to shore there is a lot of rocks, which is not good for holding and may make foul of your chain. Overall for the conditions we were in, it’s a comfortable anchorage with very little swell.
