Lovely anchorage with a mountainous back drop. Anchored in 10 - 15 meters, mud bottom. Boats quite close together. No charge. 5 mins by tender to the beautiful walled town of korcula. Definitely one not to miss.

The rest of me there only with country festivals on the east side. Many boats only bathe their anchor and they like to pull other anchors out….

Ich andere dort nur mehr mit Landfesten an der Ost Seite. Viele Boote baden nur ihren Anker und diese reißen gerne andere Anker aus ….

So close to Korčula for only 200 kuna. The harbor rib was pleasant when coming by right after we shore tied. He wasn’t pushy or invasive when we were tying to shore. Everyone was shore-tied so the anchorage was open for swimming, taxis, boat movement and dinghy-ing over to the dock. There is a marina in here now and the kuna you pay allows you to safely tie your dinghy to the pier so you can walk to Old Town. The taxi drives by slowly to not disturb your boat. I think it is the best place to stay by Korčula if you are looking to avoid the $$$$ of the ACI which is under heavy construction at the moment. -🚺on s/vNanook
