Very pleasant bay. Quite a few boats. I read the reviews about the beach bar. We didn't realize it. Very sheltered bay

Baie très agréable. Pas mal de bateaux. J'ai lu les commentaires concernant le bar de plage. On ne s’en été pas rendu compte. Baie très abritée

A beautiful bay that offers excellent shelter for all wind directions. There is a small bar on the side with a beach. Furthermore, there are places along the side where you can moor with the boat to let the dog out. The area around the bay is beautifully overgrown. Several other restaurants and bars are within walking distance. There are usually many boats, but it is large and you can anchor from front to back. Today 29th july 2021 i think 80 boats! What's not to love about this free and safe anchorage bay!? Came here first time mid May - only two boats in the bay overnight. The wind changed to NE in the morning blowing straight into the bay, however, there were only insignificant ripples - nothing that worried us, or the anchor ;) This time (30/06/21) counted 26 sailing yachts, 2 motor boats, and dozens of small day boats (most of which clear off by 5-6pm) - all on anchor, and it seemed there was space for more... There was a nasty SW swell out in the open but not a ripple in this bay. Still free from mooring buoys - one of very few safe bays remaining in Croatia where you don't have to pay - mooring fields have been spreading like a virus in Croatia - sailed from Dubrovnik to Pula, there and back, and it was a struggle to find somewhere to anchor safely. This bay is a good welcome - lets hope it stays like this !!! A short walk (from the deep end of the bay) to Safari Bar is well worth the trek - a labyrinth of secluded seating to enjoy drinks and food with friends, and a view from the South most tip of Istria
