Love this marina that much we decided to stay a year
Love this marina that much we decided to stay a year
I've spent along time here (over 3 months now), above all else, most notable are the amazing staff here. They can't do enough for you, day or night. Simply brilliant. Boat yard with 30 tonne lift, work carried out to impeccable standards. Location is stunning, lots of wildlife on the nearby islands which are easily accessible on a dinghy. Facilities are excellent (brilliant showers) and immaculately maintained (£2.50 for washers, £1 for driers!). Onsite pub is excellent (again, as too are the staff there), great food, beers, single malts and live music during summer season. Downsides? it's pretty remote (but also a good thing!), small shop at the pub for most essentials and a well stocked small chandlery. but if you need anything else it's a 45min drive to either Oban or Lochgilphead but there are occasional bus collections from the marina car park. Plenty of nice accomodation within walking distance too (log cabins, cottages e.t.c). Horse riding, water sports also all within walking distance. Love this place and the people, will be very sad to leave. A massive thank you to Craobh Marina and all the brilliant people here.

Great staff, slip useable all states of tide. Holiday cottages available onsite and good pub. Chandlery and boatyard.
