A very nice stopover, super sheltered, with a nice discovery of the trade around the harvest of seaweed, and a very nice trail along the aber. Shops are scarce, a Spar does the job.
Une très belle escale, super abritée, avec une belle découverte du métier autour de la récolte des algues, et un sentier le long de l’aber très chouette. Les commerces sont rares, un Spar fait le job.
Beautiful port! A spar at 500m not very supplied for a picnic. No bakery, creperie and restaurant next to the Spar which were full, you have to remember to book before arriving. Very practical visitor pontoon.
Beau port ! Un spar a 500m pas très fourni pour faire un pique nique. Pas de boulangerie, une crêperie et un restaurant à côté du Spar qui étaient complet, il faut penser à réserver avant d’arriver. Ponton visiteur très pratique.
A quiet and peaceful harbour. Pay careful attention to the chart on the way in or out. The channel is narrow and bordered with rocks as is the harbour itself. €24.90 per night on a buoy for 11 metres (summer 2020). I think 500 berths is a bit optimistic. Perhaps including all the mooring buoys but the marina has three pontoons including the side of the outer pontoon for visitors (rafted three deep when I arrived). The staff at the Capitainaire are friendly and helpful as are the staff at Chantier Naval Du Crapaud. A ten minute walk into the village for the Spar shop (a bit pricey), the Creperie and the Café/Bar, L'Auberge de la Mer which does a great all you can eat buffet at lunchtime for €6 (summer 2020). Two buses a day to Brest (07:50 & 12:50) for €2 return.
