Stayed a week. Roberto manager extremely helpful, free bike loan(2 bikes), showers and toilets clean, buses into Motril town, bus stop is 10 minutes from marina from Motril. Visited Nerja, Almunecar and Salobrena; you get the bus to Motril and then from Motril to other towns. Only problem after August: last bus from Moril town to Marina at 20.00 or 8 pm but cost under 2 euros each way to motril town ...it is walkable 30/40 mins. We cycled to Salobrena nice old fort good sightseeing day plus entry to fort was free when we went in September. Close to harbour 3 small yachting shops along dock road. But ferreteria in Motril town plus larger stores and suppliers in industrial area around town managed to pick up replacement engine battery 60 euros. Some swell in harbour when easterlies blow use snubbers but not too uncomfortable Worth a visit.

There are no words to express the gratitude towards all the team of Marina Park Motril. They will always go above and beyond to find a solution to help you. It is a small family buisness and they will make sure that you feel welcome anytime. We renovated our old boat to get it ready to sail around the world and Roberto & his team really took good care of us. The beach is just a few minutes walk away and the fabulous city of Granada about 60km. Marina Park will always be a very special place to us. A huge thank you!!!!

A really super, small, family run marina with personalized support. Very safe and secure. Roberto, the owner/manager is a fantastic host. He has some bikes for us to use and even allowed us to use his marina van to collect a heavy load of provisions. Everything you would hope for in this marina. Great showers. They are especially geared up for boat repairs and fitting services. Also lots of storage if you need to leave your boat on the hard, or just have the hull pressure washed and inspected. We had our engine checked and our hulls inspected while a scuba guy was available and some nice stainless steel fabrication work done too. We also watched as some boats arrived for fiberglass repair work. He has some top notch workmanship available at marina Motril. Docking is easy. Great communications. Excellent line assistance when docking and Lots of space on new floating pontoons with deep water. We are very grateful to Roberto and his team for all the friendly support they offered us. We will definitely make a point of returning.
