At the entrance to the port we called on canal 74 and a lady answered us fairly quickly. One of his colleagues was waiting for us at the dock and showed us our location. The lady at the reception speaks French very well even though we always make the effort to take the first step in Italian. Port far from shops if you want to go shopping. But if you like to walk through the Italian countryside, Villaputzu is at 1 hour 10 minutes on foot, possibility of crossing sheep on the way. The port is fairly well protected from swells thanks to its large dike. We stayed there for 1 week because of the bad weather before continuing our descent south. 14 € per night for 9.87m.

Not particularly attractive, but okay for transit.

Nicht besonders attraktiv, aber zur Durchreise okay.

Another wasted opportunity to revive a marina far from everything, without shelter for at least 50 miles .. And where if you arrive without drinking water you have to drink that of the barrel because you can find absolutely nothing, no shop and no service. However, this marina had its own reason when the management was municipal: it was cheap. Increasing the cost exaggeratedly does not solve the problem, asking for an annual berth for a higher amount than a berth in the center of Cagliari can only lead to emptying. And the impression is that Arbatax, same management and same feeling of abandonment, is in the same condition. Marina to be used only for technical stopover (fresh water, current and bad weather) and nothing more, at least until management improves.
