Halfway between Royan and Bordeaux, access to the port is at all times via a chicane to the south. The entrance is expected until 1h30 before the bass, and the exit 1h30 after the bass. A mast and dismasting activity is present in our technical area, for your stopovers on the canal du midi route, a bottle of wine offered for each operation. A reception pontoon is reserved for short stopovers, and pitches are for longer stopovers. We will be there to welcome you according to your requests. Close to vineyards, shops, the city of Pauillac will welcome you with pleasure.

My opinion has changed a lot over the past two years, as has this port. The pontoons are obsolete, access to the pontoons is not closed and acts of incivility are on the rise. What about access !!!! Still classified as deep water on the various nautical instructions, the reality is quite different, Pauillac is impractical as low tide approaches ... in short, better management would be desirable ...

Disadvised passage at mid-tide with a draft of more than 1.80m.

It is true that the reception is nice, but how much competently on the sea? When I arrive, I ask the VHF if there is enough water at the location I am assigned. Two hours later, I'm planted in the mud! Impossible to leave on time to take the current to Bordeaux ...
