It is very expensive but you know that before you arrive, the island is lovely, we hired an electric car to drive around the whole island and what a lovely place, had a bad experience at the restaurant but that was a while ago so might have improved now.

We were a bit torn as to whether we should pay the high price, especially since there were only three of us on the boat. In September 2020 there was a 30% discount and we decided to create a power in the port of Brijuni. It was definitely worth it, the island is incredibly beautiful. On 9/8 there was little going on overall. In the evening we had the island almost to ourselves, with lots of animals from red deer to pheasants to the exotic species in the safari park. The port square can be used 24 hours a day. We rented bikes the next morning and drove across the island. Fantastic, there is so much to discover. You can hardly see everything in 24 hours, next time we will stay two nights. The sanitary facilities were very well maintained and are not far from the pier. The port staff was very nice and helpful with mooring. The price is high but absolutely justified, you shouldn't see it as a fee for the port square, but as a total package. The national park fee is included for 5 people. After spending the night in the harbor, you can also go to a bay with buoys on the neighboring island (e.g. for lunch or swim) or spend the night there. But we didn't manage to do that anymore and will definitely come again. By the way, the prices for the bikes were completely reasonable. You can rent them by the hour. Approx. Officially 5 € per hour, the time has been calculated very generously in our favor. There were three of us and we ended up paying less.

I would definitely not go back. The price is not worth the service. They made us moor in a jetty where if we wanted to stay after 10 the next day (arriving at 12 the day before) we had to move and moor again due to their mistake and they didn't discount, so we had to leave two hours earlier than expected by losing half a day's visit. The island is pretty but nothing more than any other Croatian island. The only extra note are the animals: deer and fawns visible by touring the island and a small zoo with some zebra, ostrich, llama and an elephant. But in any case exaggerated prices also for bike, golf car rentals, etc. (minimum € 30 for a bike per day or € 40 for a single hour of golf car). Very distant and dirty bathrooms. Island called a natural park but poorly maintained: plastic everywhere on the banks and beyond, the smell of sewage discharge throughout the port ...
