We only stopped for diesel. The petrol station is open from 9:00 till 12:00. Then it reopens at 15:00. We arrived at 12:30 and were lucky that the person in charge was still there. We appreciate the fact that it was his lunch time but he did not tell us to wait. We asked if we could leave the boat on the fuel dock for an hour and go to the village to get groceries. No problem. So we visited this lovely village with old stone houses. We found couple of grocery shops and green grocery as well. There is a lot of restaurants/bars but the majority of them open only in the evening. Beach just outside of the marina. Be careful when getting to the fuel dock as it gets shallow. Looks like they have bit of silting problem (marked with a buoy). We were on a 18,5m catamaran and the dock was big enough.

From 2020, the era of free reception at the municipal pier is over, which remains managed by municipality staff (as well as the petrol pump). Good trappe and water and electricity, but it is the end of a romantic era. 40 € for 9.10 meters. The port is well sheltered. We took 25 knots in port from the NW with no problems. Not excellent toilet facilities. The port is owned by Angelo Vassallo and the town still retains the ecological and clean imprint that he gave it. For this we go back and refuel.

Covid case (?!) From this year, free seats are no longer available; the place is still pleasant, well equipped, clean toilets; showers are paid. The town is lively, the Meeting ice cream parlor is absolutely recommended. € 60 a night for mooring for our boat.
