Port with a lot of charm. Friendly and efficient welcome from the authorities, but ........ a lot of surf behind the entrance jetty and spending the night there turns out to be unpleasant.

A great welcome from the PortsIB staff. Friendly, helpful and the online booking was very efficient. The one and only downside is lack of security as the quay is a public area. That said, it felt safe and secure enough. Porto Cristo is a friendly little town with key services for cruisers within 10 minute walk: supermarkets, self service laundries and ferreterias. The big Eroski to the NW of the town is well stocked but expensive. We found a little family run supermarket closer to the port that had good quality bread, fruit and vegetables at better prices. Its on the corner of Carrer del Port and Carrer San Simo

Nice stopover, entry into the port difficult with an easterly wind, superb cliffs, the visit of the Drach caves, easily accessible on foot 15 minutes, particularly beautiful to do. Good restaurants at the bottom of the arm of the sea.
