My home base. Great place. Helpful staff and good services on site if you’re in trouble(!). Wonderful wildlife good walks.

The nearest Aldi or m&s food is approximately 20min walk or 5 min drive, end of the entrance by road and turn left. Walk or drive 5 minutes more and in the heart of Walton with ample shops, beach and eatery’s.

There’s a warm welcome from the team here. All kinds of boat services are available. The Marina is fine, with every facility you’d expect, but it is a mile’s walk from anywhere. And the bistro/bar on site is often not open in the evenings during the week. If you have the energy for a walk, or perhaps you have your bikes, there are good views and pleasant pubs not far away. The Tower at The Naze is great for a panoramic view; and for tea and cake!
