Beautiful spot. When there’s little wind and little swell, the bad protection isn’t a problem. We anchored in 14 meter (high tide), before the bouys. You have to take into account that the current can be much stronger than the wind. We had to anchor twice because the first time our anchor didn’t hold in the seaweed. You can leave your dinghy at the ramp, near the beach. Take a fender with you to protect the dinghy from the stones. Very beautiful coastwalk to the lighthouse at Pointe Saint Mathieu (8 km).

Heavy transient boats have taken the bad habit of clinging to seemingly available anchorages. Many of these moorings in the Bertheaume cove are "innovative" (simple mooring nylon in a rigid PVC pipe not to damage the funds by ragage, Marine Park of Iroise obliges). When a heavy squatter mooring on an innovative mooring planned for a 400kg boat like mine it does damage. Here is how the anchorage of my canoe was broken by pressure one year and the following year moved by traction (so boats were very damaged a little later by hitting). So thanks to visitors for kindly using the safes ... Digemer Mad!

Digemer Mad !

Anchorage is nice, no port reception and no facilities for boaters. The advertised rate for the night is 6 € but no one cares about it ... so 10 days without paying for our share Small pontoon on the beach very convenient, launching pad, I recommend
