Very pleasant anchorage with crystal clear water and good holding in sandy bottom. Good shelter from nw wind but swell still makes it into the bay. Very good place to be in and East winds. The gate in the cave is locked but there is a path near the gate that can be taken to get into ponza town for provisions.

Very suggestive cove with unique sheer walls, rather crowded even though it is September, an extraordinary sunset. Quiet night still on good sand in 7m of water

Cala molto suggestiva con pareti a picco uniche, piuttosto affollata nonostante sia settembre, tramonto straordinario. Notte tranquilla ancora su sabbia buon tenitore in 7m d’acqua

Landscaped bay very beautiful, the anchor holds quite well on a sandy bottom, but to find little bottom you have to get close to the coast. The beautiful beach is very often closed due to falling rocks. Inquire before leaving, if you exceed the buoys that have placed for the closure you risk a criminal complaint and a high fine. If the beach was open take the opportunity to see the gallery that connects directly to Ponza port, also useful for making provisions. In high season very crowded and confusing, like all Ponza in that period. Attention given the nature of the coast, wind and wave change rapidly.

In alta stagione molto affollata e confusionaria, come tutta Ponza in quel periodo.
