I really have no idea how they cram the number of boats in that one sees in some of the photos. We were only three yachts and I didn’t see space for more unless they anchor in the mouth. You need to find the patches of sand between the rocks and weeds to drop and be careful not to go too far into the cove on the west - this is full of dead bodies, ropes floating just under the water, anchor chain and rocks. NW swell wrappers around and cones in, bouncing off the cliffs making it very uncomfortable. Caves and scenery very beautiful and less than 2km walk on paths west to town with choice of grocery stores.

Agree with everything above but one addition: when it is suggested to get plenty of ground tackle out, and references to “sandy bottom”. we had not realised this was a euphemism for the fact this is a big nudity area – particularly men –so be careful what you tie off on!

Very nice anchorage, but arrive early in the season to find a place.

Très beau mouillage, mais arriver tôt en saison, pour trouver une place.
